DAVV Soon Become A-Grade University

Excellence would  be main aim of 2012 in the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya ( DAVV) that is dreaming of becoming a Grade- A university and it thinks that academic excellence is a key to fulfill its dream. Therefore it has taken 20 new steps for achieving academic excellence.

These new initiatives include introduction of new workload norms for faculty, introduction of code and ethics, improving varsitys Gyan- Vani FM radio station, making UTD campus green, setting up of IT Centre for the disabled, strengthening Wi- Fi infrastructure across all classrooms, developing infrastructure for Softcopy and Hardcopy record room, making enrollment and examination forms process online for all classes etc.

‘Work on most of these initiatives has already begun,’Vice Chancellor Prof Rajkamal told.

‘The DAVV is accredited ‘B’by National Assessment and Accreditation Council ( NACC). If we want to improve our grade, we have to achieve academic excellence besides adding some unique features in our cap,’the VC said .
