10 more seats for medical colleges in MP

The MGM medical college is likely to have 10 more seats for graduate courses. Presently, it has 140 seats. The medical education department has proposed to increase 10 seats in all six medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh.

Medical education minister and director, medical education, will meet officials of the Medical Council of India (MCI) in this connection soon.

“The infrastructure required for 140 seats can accommodate 10 more candidates too,” dean, MGM medical college, Pushpa Verma told. She said the college has been informed that the officials including the minister of state for health, Mahendra Hardia will meet MCI officials to get seats increased.
