NASA To Begin Commercial Space Flights By 2017

Soon, one of the options in your holiday destination list could be ‘space’! Under the Commercial Crew Integrated Capability (CCiCap) initiative, NASA has made a deal with the three companies that promise to launch commercial manned spacecrafts within next five years. They have invested $212.5 million in Sierra Nevada Corporation, $440 million in Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) and $460 million in The Boeing Company.
