Internship become difficult for students of higher education department

Industry training or internship which is a major area of scoring high percentage in final year is becoming difficult for college students due to poor coordination between industries and colleges.

BSc and BCom final year students approached the higher education department officials complaining about problems they are facing in getting training in local industry.

“College authorities told us that they have spoken to industry and gave us a letter to approach them. But when we go to the company, they say they have not received any official communication,” said B. Sc final year student of PMB Gujarati Science College Naman Dubey. Students said that 100 marks are allotted to training in final year and thus it is an integral area of scoring high percentage.

Officiating additional director, higher education, Kishore John said that the department will write to all college principals asking them to maintain coordination with the industry.
