District collector says: ‘Parking issue is our top priority’

“Getting rid of parking problems faced by city residents is a priority of administration and effective steps are being taken to address it,” said district collector Akash Tripathi .
“Evening parking slots are being developed at vacant spaces in the schools while multi-level and basement parking will be set up at various other places in the city soon,” said Tripathi.
Talking about ongoing development work, the collector said that completing construction of Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS) on time was one of the biggest challenges for district administration. “We are having talks with representatives of religious places that are coming in the way of construction of BRTS,” he said, while assuring of completing the corridor work by December.
