India’s 100th Successful Space Mission

The Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota achieved a major milestone with the launch of PSLV-C21/SPOT-6/PROITERES mission at 09:53 hours on Sunday, September 9, 2012. It was the 100th successful space mission of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), which kickstarted its space program in 1975 with the launch of its first satellite Aryabhata. ISRO has so far launched 62 Indian and 29 foreign satellites.
