Students protest over errors in marksheets at DAVV Khandwa campus

Indore: Anguished over repeated errors in marks and the negligence of the concerned officials, students forcedly closed the evaluation department of Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya (DAVV) located at its Khandwa road campus on Friday.

Chaos broke out in the campus after a number of students reported that officials refused to change their marks in the mark sheet despite the errors found in evaluation at the time of reviewing through the challenging form system.

Student leader, Varsha Sharma said, “Students were denied changes in result even when there was a visible mistake spotted during answer sheet review. When students insisted that their answer sheet shows a different score, officials told them that no correction will be done now”.

All such complainants united to protest against the attitude of the officials and shouted slogans before putting a lock on the evaluation centers gate.

Registrar, R D Musalgaonkar, assistant register (exam) Prajwal Khare and dean student welfare Rajeev Dixit arrived at the spot and assured students of taking action against officials found guilty.
