CBSE asks schools to participate in Global Education and Skill Summit 2012

The Global Education and Skill Summit 2012 is being organized at New Delhi from September 19 and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is requesting schools to participate in the event.
Board chairman Vineet Joshi has written to all affiliated schools and said that the summit is being organized to brainstorm and arrive at viable solutions to revamp education and training sectors in India. He added that CBSE is partnering in organizing this mega International event.
“The conference shall address various relevant topics like quality in education and training, importance of investing in technology, teachers training, teaching-learning resources, comprehensive curriculum, VET, academic and administrative governance structure and practices and optimal use of ICT for the same,” Joshi’s letter says.
One of the major attractions of the conference will be the international exhibition ‘WORLDDIDAC INDIA 2012’ that will showcase latest and innovative education and training solutions, contemporary educational advances and services that aid in learning and teaching.
