Video Call Office in Indore

Public Call Offices (PCOs), which had virtually been pushed into oblivion by cell phones, are now all set for a makeover, with telecom major BSNL launching Video Call Office facility on Monday.
“Apart from providing this service at 11 BSNL service centres, the same would be offered to private operators (PCO owners),” said BSNL Indore general manager Ganesh Chandra Pandey after inaugurating the first Video Call Office (VCO) service at Nehru Park.
The innovative landline-based service not only lets customers have conversations but also enables them to see whom they are talking with. “VCOs would be opened in all districts of Madhya Pradesh and video calls will cost Rs 3 per 45 seconds,” Pandey said.
