IIT-Indore joins hands with IT major Computer Sciences Corporation

IT major Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) having base in Indore for around 15 years has inked an agreement with Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore for promoting young talents for needs of the IT market.

As part of the MoU, the company is giving a chance to IIT Indore to join the Collaborative Open Innovation Network (COIN). Ganesh Swaminathan, CSC director, process management and office of innovation and head of the COIN Initiative said: “We are extremely proud to be associated with a premier institute like IIT Indore. With the COIN programme we aim to bridge the gap between the industry and academia, which has been a longstanding issue for India. We believe that students on the threshold of joining tomorrow’s workforce should be given adequate exposure to real world trends and industry expectations to help them learn hands-on experience with proven global work processes and practices.”
