Infosys, New South Wales university team up to offer internships

IT giant Infosys and New South Wales (NSW) university have announced an internship programme where students from NSW will work on technology-based projects in India.
Called InStep NSW, the residential programme is aimed at helping the economy of NSW and bring in more hands-on experience to the students.
“InStep NSW will help students to develop a greater understanding of Asia, which we know is going to be of great importance as international business focuses increasingly on the region,” said NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell.
Around 3-5 students will get shortlisted and work on real-world strategic projects on topics that are relevant for the NSW economy, like cloud computing or big data. The course will last for 8-10 weeks during the Australian summer living and working in an Infosys campus in India
