Indore to see tricolour spread over 2 lakh sq ft on Republic Day

Indore: Having drawn faces of noted personalities like Barack Obama, Amitab Bachachan and Shah Rukh Khan, a 26 year-old Chhattisgarh man has now turned to Indore for drawing largest ever tricolour on R-Day in the form of a rangoli.Chandrakant Sahu, a resident of Ramsagarpara area of Raipur in Chhattisgarh reached the city on Thursday.
He plans to draw a tricolor in the form of a rangoli for the R-Day and he claims that the artefact would be largest ever tri-colour, spanning in an area of 2 lakh sq ft.
For drawing this jumbo flag, Sahu requires a gigantic place. He said that he had visited BRTS corridor and the central railing constructed for the corridor. If the authorities concerned allow him to use the space, he would draw the tricolor inside the corridor, said Sahu.
