Students’ Parliament to see DAVV participants

With a view to involve young student leaders in dialogue and discussion on national and global issues, Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya (DAVV) will be engaging its students in the Indian Students Parliament to be held in MAEER’s MIT School of Government in Pune next month.
The parliament will be held from January 10-12 and will be supported by the ministry of sports and youth affairs, UNESCO chair of human rights and democracy and various other bodies of government of India.
This is the third year when student leaders from every region of the country will be participating in the students’ parliament. The programme aims at mobilising student union leaders of India to come together on a platform to bring about a positive change in the leadership of the country.
DAVV registrar R D Musalgaonkar has directed all department heads and dean of student welfare to prepare students for participating in the parliament.
“All department heads should motivate maximum students to participate in this parliament to be held for the third time,” Musalgaonkar said.
