Oriental University: Classes suspended for 7 days

Oriental University on Tuesday closed down all student academic activities for the next seven days. The university has closed down classes and has postponed the internal exams which were scheduled to start on January 8. However, the officials failed to give a reason for the same.
“All academic activities including regular classes, internal exams, bus services etc have been closed down. The exact reason is not known to me as it was a management order that did not carry specifications about the reason for this postponement,” said university public information officer Siddharth Sharma.
Registrar SC Gondal told media persons that classes have been closed down as some upgradation in the university is going to be made during this time.
