Code of conduct issued for pvt school teachers

omplying with the Right to Education Act, the state school education department has issued a code of conduct for the private school teachers for the better implementation of the act.
“The free and compulsory RTE act has reserved a significant role for the teachers to spread education to all children. This code of conduct for the private school teachers is the compilation of all the rules and functions of teachers mentioned in the act,” said state education centre commissioner Rashmi Arun Shami.
The state government long back released the code of conduct for teachers teaching in government schools.
The department has also clarified in the code of conduct that no children admitted under the RTE act should be charged any fees.
One of the salient features of this code of conduct abolishes the screening of children for the selection process.
