Financial assistance to schools for creating gender awareness

Indore: As city schools gear up to make students aware about gender issues, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) takes a step forward to help out schools achieve their objective by establishing a gender sensitization cell. CBSE chairman Vineet Joshi announced it at a national workshop for school principals.
The cell will provide financial assistance to schools towards creating gender awareness. Although schools have not received any official instruction about the same, they are enthusiastic about establishing similar cell at regional and city levels too.
