India Successfully Fires Underwater Missile

Right after Republic Day celebrations on 26th January, India’s test on the underwater missile K-15 (a.k.a B05) was successful.

The ballistic underwater missile was launched off the coast of Vishakhapatnam. The missile had been under development trial process since long and the firing off on Sunday marked an end to the trial period. The K-15 missile is 10-metre tall and the tests on Sunday were the 12th and finaly firing tests of the missile. The missile is said to achieve a range of 700 km and was tested to full capacity during the final firing.
