IIPM degree invalid in MP only

Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM) has told students that it is only in the state of Madhya Pradesh that the degree of the institute is not considered valid.
A delegation of students from the Indore campus of IIPM met the officials of IIPM in Delhi last week where they discussed the issue of their degree and placements. Students claimed that the officials refused to give them an authentic degree and compensation for failing to do so.
“We met the standing dean in Delhi and he told us that IIPM is considered unauthorised only in Madhya Pradesh and that they cannot help us in any way,” claimed a student who was a part of the delegation under the condition of anonymity.
Additional director higher education Dr Narendra Dhakad had earlier told DNA that IIPM is derecognised institute which has no right to award degrees.
Even the University Grants Commission (UGC) had floated a public notice on its website stating that the institute has no right for allotting degrees.
