Now, smart lightbulb that can be controlled with your phone

Philips has developed a lightbulb that connects to broadband networks and then lets iPhone users change the colour and brightness with an app.
The Philips ‘Hue’ lightbulb, which cost 179 pounds for a starter pack that includes broadband connection equipment and three bulbs, screw into existing sockets and use just 20 percent of the energy of conventional bulbs.
Users are then able to turn lightbulbs on or off or adjust their brightness from anywhere in the world – from their sofa or while on holiday.
