Candlelight march by women in Indore against Delhi gang-rape

Anguished over the gang rape of para medical student in Delhi and the poor safety of women in the country, Jwala- a city based helpline for women took out a candle light march at Zanjeerwala Square on Wednesday.
In the march, women from all walks of life participated along with their family member and even young children.
They even shouted slogans against perpetrators of such crimes and demands more security for women and girls especially those who study or are employed.
Jwala organiser, Dr Divya Gupta said,
“Enough is enough. How much we will tolerate.

What is happened is deeply saddening”.

The helpline will mobilise young girls and women by
generating awareness of self defence among them.
